1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, accessing, or attending Blockparty Paris 2025 (the "Event"), you ("Participant", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any additional rules communicated by Beyond Work AI Limited ("Beyond Work", "we", "us", or "our") or our Event co-host, Accenture.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not register for or attend the Event.
2. Event Overview
Blockparty Paris 2025 is a one-day hackathon and networking event hosted by Beyond Work and Accenture at Station F, Paris, on October 24, 2025. The Event showcases the Workblocks platform and invites participants to build enterprise AI solutions.

- Hours: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM (subject to change)
3. Registration and Eligibility
3.1 Eligibility
The Event is open to:
- Professionals aged 18 or older
- Individuals with a valid email address
- Participants who comply with venue and safety requirements
We reserve the right to verify eligibility and decline registration at our discretion.
3.2 Registration Process
Registration is via the Event website or third-party platform. Confirmation is subject to availability. We may implement waitlists or registration caps.
3.3 Ticket Transfer and Cancellation
- Registration is non-transferable without prior written consent from Beyond Work
- You may cancel your registration by emailing [email protected] at least 48 hours before the Event
- We reserve the right to cancel the Event due to force majeure, low registration, or safety concerns (see Section 12)
4. Participant Conduct
All participants must:
- Treat all attendees, staff, and partners with respect
- Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
- Comply with venue rules and Event staff instructions
- Not engage in any illegal activity or violate third-party rights
- Use Event facilities and equipment responsibly
We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these standards without refund or liability.
5. Intellectual Property Ownership
5.1 Participant Creations
You retain all rights to code, designs, and ideas you create during the Event ("Participant IP"). By participating, you grant Beyond Work and Accenture a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Showcase your work in Event recaps, case studies, and promotional materials
- Publish anonymized insights or aggregated learnings from Event projects
You may open-source your work or commercialize it independently, provided you comply with Section 5.2.
5.2 Platform and Tools
Beyond Work retains all rights to:
- The Workblocks platform and underlying technology
- APIs, SDKs, documentation, and sample code provided during the Event
- Event branding, logos, and marketing materials
You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or commercialize the Workblocks platform without a separate commercial agreement.
5.3 Third-Party Content
Ensure you have the right to use any third-party code, data, or assets in your project. You are solely responsible for compliance with third-party licenses (e.g., open-source libraries, APIs).
6. Data and Privacy
6.1 Use of Personal Data
You must only use data you are authorized to use. Do not upload sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information (PII) to Event systems without explicit consent and compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
6.2 Sample Datasets
We provide anonymized, synthetic datasets for testing. Use of external datasets is at your own risk and must comply with the dataset provider's terms.
6.3 Privacy Policy
Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
7. Photography, Recording, and Media
By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded by Beyond Work, Accenture, and authorized media partners. These materials may be used for:
- Social media, websites, and marketing campaigns
- Event recaps and promotional videos
- Press releases and case studies
If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify Event staff on-site. We will provide identification to signal your preference.
8. Prizes and Awards
8.1 Prize Eligibility
Winners will be selected by judges based on criteria announced at the Event. Prize eligibility may be subject to:
- Completion of a working demo by the submission deadline
- Compliance with Event rules and these Terms
- Verification of identity and eligibility
8.2 Prize Distribution
Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranties. Winners are responsible for any taxes, fees, or reporting obligations. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
8.3 No Guarantee
Participation does not guarantee a prize. Judges' decisions are final.
9. Safety and Liability
9.1 Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that participating in the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or illness. You attend at your own risk.
9.2 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beyond Work, Accenture, and their affiliates, partners, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, "Event Parties") are not liable for:
- Personal injury, illness, or death
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal property
- Technical failures, platform downtime, or data loss
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
The Event Parties' total liability shall not exceed the registration fee paid (if any), or €100, whichever is greater.
9.3 Insurance
Participants are encouraged to maintain their own health, travel, and personal property insurance.
10. Venue Rules and Compliance
Station F has its own rules and policies. You agree to comply with venue requirements, including:
- Security screening and badge display
- Prohibited items (weapons, illegal substances, etc.)
- Smoking and alcohol policies
- Emergency evacuation procedures
Failure to comply may result in removal from the venue.
11. Modifications to the Event
We reserve the right to modify the Event schedule, format, or content at any time without prior notice. This includes:
- Changes to speakers, agenda, or activities
- Adjustments to venue or logistics
- Introduction of health and safety protocols (e.g., COVID-19 measures)
Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered participants.
12. Event Cancellation or Force Majeure
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or convert the Event to a virtual format due to:
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, terrorism, war)
- Venue unavailability or safety concerns
- Insufficient registrations
- Regulatory or legal restrictions
In such cases, we will notify participants as soon as reasonably possible. We are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants. No refunds will be issued for free events.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Event Parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your conduct at the Event
- Your use of third-party content without authorization
- Your breach of any applicable laws or regulations
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Event shall be resolved through:
- Informal Negotiation: Good-faith discussions for 30 days
- Arbitration: Binding arbitration under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), conducted in English in London, UK
You waive the right to participate in class actions or representative proceedings.
14.3 Jurisdiction
For matters not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in London, England.
15. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any Event-specific rules, constitute the entire agreement between you and Beyond Work regarding the Event.
17. Amendments
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants via email. Continued participation after changes indicates acceptance.
